PROLOTHERAPY

Weak ligaments and tendons are often the cause of pain and joint damage. Traditional approaches, such as surgery, physical therapy or anti-inflammatory drugs, often fail to stabilize the joint or provide lasting relief from pain. Prolotherapy directly addresses the cause of the instability by strengthening and healing stretched or torn ligaments and tendons. Improved function means less pain.Click here to go to this page

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

It is irresponsible to burden a weight patient with the line “Eat less and exercise more.” The key to lasting weight management is not simple.

Weight gain is not a character flaw, and certainly not “all in your head.” It is a complex metabolic process. ~ David E. Pawsat, DO Click here to go to this page

Thyroid Function Problems

Thyroid function problems are very common. Symptoms include fatigue, hair loss, poor sleep…

Dr. Christine Blakeney

Thyroid function problems are very common. Symptoms include fatigue, hair loss, poor sleep, abnormal periods, poor concentration, difficulty getting pregnant, dry skin, thick skin, swelling, numbness, depression, difficulty tolerating cold temperature, cold hands and feet, constipation, muscle aches, numbness, trouble with heart rate and rhythm, getting sick often, difficulty losing weight despite a good diet and exercise, rashes, etc.

Many people are taking supplemental thyroid medication yet are not feeling very much better, or they felt well initially when starting thyroid medicine, but do not now.

If you are still having symptoms even though you are taking thyroid supplementation medication, there are several possible reasons for this. Your dose or type of thyroid may be wrong for you, or you are not taking the medication on an empty stomach.

To feel well you must be nutritionally and hormonally balanced. Coexisting issues with adrenal function, ovarian function, insulin resistance, GI function, and lifestyle choices are important. The stress, poor sleep, toxins, drugs, etc., that injured your thyroid will often have injured your other cells as well. A comprehensive wellness program that addresses EVERYTHING will help you. We can help.
