PROLOTHERAPY

Weak ligaments and tendons are often the cause of pain and joint damage. Traditional approaches, such as surgery, physical therapy or anti-inflammatory drugs, often fail to stabilize the joint or provide lasting relief from pain. Prolotherapy directly addresses the cause of the instability by strengthening and healing stretched or torn ligaments and tendons. Improved function means less pain.Click here to go to this page

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

It is irresponsible to burden a weight patient with the line “Eat less and exercise more.” The key to lasting weight management is not simple.

Weight gain is not a character flaw, and certainly not “all in your head.” It is a complex metabolic process. ~ David E. Pawsat, DO Click here to go to this page

Thermography

“Breast thermography (or infrared mammography) can be a complimentary method for early cancer detection no matter what your age or circumstances.”

by Dr. David Pawsat & Sarah Tavakoli

One woman in eight will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. With statistics like these, virtually every woman will be
touched by breast cancer in one way or another.

Fortunately, breast cancers can be treated successfully if found early. Detecting breast cancer early can give you a life-saving head
start on the road to a cure.

Breast thermography (or infrared mammography) can be a complimentary method for early cancer detection no matter what your
age or circumstances.

Breast thermography is entirely non-contact, meaning no painful compression of the breasts. It is also non-invasive, meaning there are no injections of harmful dyes or contrast mediums into the blood stream, and it involves no exposure to radiation.

Traditional detection methods are X-Ray, Mammogram, Ultrasound, MRI, and physical examination. Breast thermography can be an effective functional test that compliments traditional forms of detection. Breast thermography is a natural addition for a proactive breast health program.

We are happy to offer Breast thermography scans to both patients and non-patients of The Center for Optimal Health once a
month. If you are interested in breast thermography, call us to schedule your scan at (517) 324-9400.
